Mental health interventions today only focus on the individual struggling.

We support the family, friends and colleagues around someone struggling

The power of community in mental health support.

Support from friends, family, and peers plays a vital role in mental health. With professional services stretched thin, many people rely on their close connections to help them cope with mental health challenges.

We rely on our close connections for support when the system can't provide for us.

1 million carers.

"Taking care of yourself while helping someone else is not selfish, it’s essential"

It has been estimated that in the UK there are over a million “informal carers” (friends, family or partners) supporting a person with a mental health condition. These informal carers often lack the training and knowledge needed to fully support their loved ones. As a result, both the person giving care and the person receiving it can struggle, missing out on the help they need, when they need it most.

Empowering supporters.

The difference peer support can make depends on how confident and prepared someone feels to step in. But too often, informal carers are left to figure it out on their own, without access to the tools, advice, or backup they need.

We're working to change that.

At the moment supporters are playing a guessign game. We exist to stop that.
We reduce the individual and overall burden felt by supporters.

Lessen the burden.
Remove the guilt.

We aim to lessen the burden on someone who's struggling with their mental health, and help take away some of the guilt someone might feel who wants to help, but just doesn't know how.
