Who We Are and What We Do

Youmi Support Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides digital support services for people who are supporting someone with mental health difficulties. We are not a mental health treatment service. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide to us. This means we decide how and why your data is processed.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers both.

2. Cookies on Our Pages

Our pages use no analytics or advertising cookies. Our own code stores one thing: on our Schools and Parents pages, how far down the page you scrolled, in your browser's session storage, so the Back button returns you to the same place. It is cleared when you close the tab. Our consent provider, iubenda, sets a cookie when you first visit, recording that our pages use only necessary cookies, and a second cookie if you save a choice in Cookie Preferences:

• _iub_cs-s4304690: what our pages use, and any choice you saved with its date. Kept for 12 months.
• _iub_previous_preference_id: a reference to a choice you saved. Kept for 12 months.

3. Services That See Your Device When a Page Loads

To show our pages, your browser connects to Webflow (our website platform, which serves our pages, images and fonts), Amazon CloudFront (which serves a script Webflow uses) and iubenda (our consent provider). On our Experts page, your browser also connects to Typeform, which provides the form behind the Find the right support for me button. These connections share your IP address and browser details with those providers. They do not set cookies on our pages.

4. The Youmi Experts Form

The Youmi Experts form, on our Find your expert page and in the window that opens from our Experts page, is provided by Typeform. When the form loads, Typeform sets its own cookies and similar storage on your device, including cookies it uses to measure how its forms are used. Typeform’s cookie policy explains them. If you would rather not use the form, email hello@youmisupport.com and we will help you directly.

5. Links to Other Sites

Some pages link to documents on other sites, such as Google Drive. When you open one, that site’s own cookies apply.

6. Changing Your Choice

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie Preferences at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some features, such as the Youmi Experts form, may not work.

We update this policy when the cookies on our site change. The date at the top shows the current version.
