Who is Youmi for?

We’re building Youmi for anyone supporting someone with their mental health: friends, family, carers and colleagues.

How do I get the Youmi Coach?

The Coach is offered only through schools we work with, for parents and carers aged 18 or over. If you’re at one of those schools, start with the link or QR code from your school. If you’d like Youmi at your school, tell us using the form above.

What does it cost?

The Coach is free through schools we work with. If you use Youmi Experts, you pay for those sessions yourself.

What is Youmi Experts?

Private sessions with qualified professionals from our partners. Experts is for you, the supporter, not the person you support. Start on our Experts page.

Is Youmi a crisis service?

No. In a mental or physical health emergency, call 999. For 24/7 emotional support, call Samaritans free on 116 123.

What happens to my conversations with the Coach?

We don’t use them to train any AI model, and nor does our AI provider. We improve the Coach using anonymised data only. We delete conversation content 12 months after your last activity. A small number of records are kept longer, such as the record of a safeguarding disclosure. Our privacy policy has the detail.
