About Youmi
Youmi Support Ltd ("we", "us", "our") provides digital support services for people who are supporting someone through personal challenges. We are not a mental health treatment service.
We are the data controller for the personal information you provide. How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose of this notice
This notice explains what Youmi is, what to expect from a live product still in active development, and the limits of our responsibility. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Youmi is live, but still in development
Youmi is a live product. It is also actively being developed and improved. That means:
- Features change as we learn what works for supporters
- Some features may not yet have been independently validated
- Errors or interruptions can occur
- We work hard on accuracy and safety, but we cannot guarantee Youmi will always be free from issues.
3. What Youmi is not
Youmi is not a medical, psychological, or crisis service. Anything you read or hear on Youmi is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- In a mental or physical health emergency, call 999.
- For 24/7 emotional support, call Samaritans on 116 123 (free).
- For ongoing mental health concerns, please speak to your GP or a qualified clinician.
4. Reporting issues
If something on Youmi doesn't seem right, please tell us. Email redflag@youmisupport.com with what you saw, where, and when. Reports help us spot issues early and make Youmi safer.
In an emergency, contact emergency services first. Do not rely on Youmi to escalate on your behalf.
5. Using your judgement
When you use Youmi, you agree to:
- Treat anything you read or hear as a starting point, not a final answer
- Use your own judgement in deciding how to act on what you see
- Seek qualified professional advice for medical, psychological, or other specialist concerns
